Tear down these walls that stop me from seeing The sun as it sinks in the western sky Pull down this roof that stops me from feeling The magic that walks in the light of the moon I’m on the edge of something real I don’t know what it is, I don’t know how it feels But I can’t keep turning this cog on a wheel Gonna slow it down Keep my feet on the ground I spend too much time with the old stories in my head And I forget what is real and I forget who I am I’ve tended these wounds now for long enough And a new story waits with every new sun I’m on the edge of something real I don’t know what it is, I don’t know how it feels But I can’t keep turning this cog on a wheel Gonna slow it down Keep my feet on the ground All that’s left in the end, in the end, is love All that’s left in the end, in the end, is love All that’s left in the end, in the end, is love All that’s left in the end, in the end, is love I’m on the edge of something real I don’t know what it is, I don’t know how it feels But I can’t keep turning this cog on a wheel Gonna slow it down

I’ll hold onto you and you hold onto me Let’s steer this boat, into the stormy sea So much to lose If we stay on the shore Our lives and our children Worth fighting for Brace yourself now They’ve started a war They’ve taken our choices Our freedom, our homes Now there’s nothing at all I’ll hold onto you and you hold onto me Let’s steer this boat, into the stormy sea Turn our backs on a burning sky A place we no longer know To the deafening sounds of a world torn apart Brace yourself now The sea may be rough But when the darkness lifts We'll gather what's left and carry on And I'll hold onto you, and you hold on to me We’ll steer this boat into the stormy sea Steer this boat into the storm

Tick Tock 04:40
I am standing on the edge The highest hill the tallest cliff One foot ready to jump and fall One foot barely holding on There’s a thousand voices in my mind And I’m not sure which one is mine I run, I run but still I hear That noise so loud it’s deafening Ah ooh Tick Tock, tick tock Heart like a broken clock Tick tock, tick tock Does anybody know my name? Can anybody call me home again? I am lost and I’m trying to find my way Hands on the wheel, don’t know where I’ve been Lost in time, some bad dream Well the devil he’s got me under his spell Gonna meet my demons down in hell Ah oooh Tick tock, tick tock Heart like a broken clock Tick tock, tick tock Does anybody know my name? Can anybody call me home again? I am lost and I’m trying to find my way Time to feel now Time to fold Time to rest and catch my breathe Time to find that broken heart and stitch it up Time to feel now Time to fold Time to rest and catch my breathe Time to find that broken heart and stitch it up

This room is dark and dusty Air’s so thick you could cut it with an axe Rusty nails on a concrete floor Sunlight creeping through the cracks in the roller door When I was younger, I’d fix broken things I used to breathe the life back into wood But I sold my tools for money Now all I’ve got to show is these holes Oooh ooh oooh one of these days I'll build a road and get out of town Oooh ooh oooh one of these days I'll say I'm sorry I let you down I can stay awake for days on end, get so high I feel like I’m superman I can sleep through all the trouble that I’ve made Til the guilt hits my heart like a hammer hits a nail Oooh ooh oooh one of these days I'll build a boat and sail away Oooh ooh oooh one of these days I'll say I'm sorry I caused you pain I’ve made promises I couldn’t keep I’ve stolen and lied through my teeth I never meant for things to fall apart I’ll take these pieces And one of these days I’ll build a castle for you my son One of these days I’ll build a bridge between our hearts One of these days, one of these days I will One of these days, one of these days I will Oooh ooh oooh one of these days

Tucks her kids into bed, kisses her husband goodnight Puts on her boots and out the door she flies She is ready for battle in this unforgiving heat Heavy hose on her shoulder, this fire don’t sleep Bring on the rain He stands beneath a blood red sun Every seed that he planted, has come undone He built this home 40 years before Now it’s nothing but ashes on a charcoal floor Bring on the rain Bring on the rain, that heavy soaking rain With blistered paws and weary eyes Blackened forests, nowhere to hide In this drought-stricken country where the water runs dry Bring on the rain This land shouldn’t burn like this, these wildfires take to the wind So bring on a change He watches as his country it turns to dust He had an answer, but no one asked His people never seen no fires like this There’s a way to this land and its falling on deaf ears Bring on the rain Bring on the Rain, that heavy soaking rain

Don’t you worry about a thing, my sweetheart For I see a world painted green Yellow dandelions, breaking through the concrete Sweet reverie And I see fields turn to forests And oceans bursting with life I see rivers running wild And human kindness Taking over the world Don’t you worry about a thing, my sweetheart For I feel a change is blowing in We’re listening to the old ways, to better understand how To bring life back to the land Don’t you worry about a thing, my sweetheart For I see a world painted green Yellow dandelions, breaking through the concrete Sweet reverie Sweet Reverie

Wandering 05:52
There’s ants eating honey off my kitchen bench A mountain of washing piled up on the bed The clock n the wall is making me nervous I’m running out of time Always searching for a reason Little feet, run round in circles A trail of toys scattered down the hall The years so fast, the days so slow Morning cup of tea, gone cold Always searching for a reason We’re all wandering around No one’s sure where we’re bound We keep on climbing, pushing stones up the hill And further still Every picture on the wall tells a story Like the scars and the lines on my skin Catch my reflection in the window Wonder where I’m going, where I’ve been Always searching for a reason We’re all wandering around No one’s sure where we’re bound We keep on climbing, pushing stones up the hill And further still If I sit real still, I can hear my heartbeat the sound of magpies, singing up the day we’re no more than flowers, no less than stars I’ll keep watering my garden We’re all wandering around we’re all wandering around We’re all wandering around We’re all wandering around

Old Lady River used to flow From the range, through the desert to the ocean Giving life as she went on her way Not so different to the blood in our veins Like the river, people lived here til white ghosts sailed in from the seas With a new law, a new religion The patterns of the river, too blind to see There was blood, there was violence A culture buried and drowned And all that lingered in the silence Stories sinking, waiting to be found They stripped the life from the river Drank her water with a thirst that couldn't be filled Didn’t listen to the warning Old Lady River, grew lonely and ill Now there’s drought, and there’s fire muddy waters, bird song has gone quiet You dam a river, and her creeks run dry like blood that flows, when it stops, we die like blood that flows, when it stops, we die. Now old Lady river is weary Her skin, cracked and dry buried secrets lay uncovered like roots of the river gum, holding on for dear life Water, like blood flow Keeps us, alive Blood flows, like water Keeps us, alive Water, like blood flow Keeps us, alive Blood flows, like water Keeps us, alive (blood flows down our veins like rivers born from the rain And it keeps us alive We all need water to survive)

Nobody Knows 04:38
When the road breaks in two And I’m not there to hold you When the stars don’t light the way When one way looks darker and one way looks harder And fear begs you to stay Tiny steps, its where you start Your compass is you heart Nobody Knows Nobody knows Nobody knows When the seas too rough When you’ve had enough When the fogs too heavy you can’t see When you’re tired and broken When the skies won’t open When your sail won’t steer you to shore Tiny steps, its where you start Your compass is you heart Nobody Knows Nobody knows Nobody knows And if someone tries to put out your fire Your fire girl If someone tries to put out your fire You just hold your spark, let it light your path Nobody Knows Nobody knows Nobody knows Nobody knows Where the road will take you When your heart will break If tomorrow you’ll wake Nobody knows What waits around the bend Who’ll be holding your hand Nobody knows But I know you are not your money You are not your rings You are not your body You are not your things You are the love you give You are the love you receive You are love itself and so is everyone else And the rest…. Nobody Knows
